The Olivier Award-winning play “Mountaintop” by Katori Hall is an amazing journey through the psyche, intellect, and soul of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as he is faced with his mortality. Set in Room 306 in the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, TN, on the evening of April 3, 1968, Dr. King meets the beautiful Camae, a hotel employee who is much more than she appears. The play is full of humor, humanity, and a bold vision of a troubled country’s future.
